جنوبی غزہ میں 8 اسرائیلی فوجی مارے گئے
جنوبی غزہ کی پٹی میں ہفتے کے روز آٹھ اسرائیلی فوجی مارے گئے، اسرائیلی فوج نے نے جنوبی شہر رفح میں اور اس کے آس پاس کئی علاقوں کو نشانہ بنایا، جس میں کم از کم 19 فلسطینی بھی شہید ہوئے۔

ہفتہ کو دیر گئے جاری کردہ ایک ویڈیو بیان میں نیتن یاہو نے کہا کہ حماس کو شکست دینے اور یرغمالیوں کو واپس لانے کے لیے جنگ کے اہداف پر قائم رہنے کے سوا کوئی چارہ نہیں ہے۔
اگرچہ سروے اسرائیلی عوام میں حماس کے خلاف جنگ جاری رکھنے کے لیے ٹھوس حمایت ظاہر کرتے ہیں، لیکن احتجاج اسرائیلی معاشرے میں تقسیم کی نشاندہی کرتے ہیں جو جنگ کے آغاز میں اتحاد کے دور کے بعد دوبارہ شروع ہو گئے تھے۔
